Coming out of OTT07, there is a lot of momentum around the idea of creating a book (or books!) that provides an overview of open content translation, and explains how to use Open Source Translation Tools to implement Open Content Translation Use Cases, and provides overview material as well.

Audiences
Who should "The Book" be targeted at?
- Open Content producers:
- (Add your audience thoughts here!)
- Organizations that need translation of any content (forms, brochures, etc.)
- Those who have long term projects that include translation, or those who occasionally translate?
- Those doing their own translations or those who subcontract?
- Those who do fixed translations that are never edited or documents that might be updated.
- Translators of documents, websites, blogs, software?
- For websites, those who use multilingual CMS systems or others?
- Professional translators or amateurs?
- Technology savvy users or very low level computer users?

Goals
For each audience, what should be the goals of the book?
Open Content producers:
- Provide an overview of the issues involved with open content translation
- Explain how to create content that is ready and optimized for translation
- Explain how to define translation workflows for specific tasks
- Explain how to use specific tools to implement translation workflows
- (More goals please!)
